FUN! RAISING
Raising awareness of the Franklin Band program and adding enthusiastic student musicians to the band has been an ongoing goal for Mr. Owens and the Lightning Band Boosters. As a result of our success we have found that our current band has "outgrown" our marching uniform inventory. So during the 2025-26 school year our fundraising events are focusing on the purchase of 30 new marching uniforms so that we can field the entirely of the Franklin Lightning Band this Spring.
Support the Band Booster Program
These funds raised directly support the band program and scholarships
Every school year, LBB will organize a month-long fundraiser that is the main source of our budget funds to support the band program. Next year, we plan on leveraging a new fundraising platform that will enable more reach, during the month of the Play-a-thon. Several events will coincide with promoting the campaign.
Support a Band Student Directly
These funds raised directly support a band student's trips, this year focused on the big trip to Disney Land.
For next year, we'll continue to have various fundraisers for students to directly raise funds for band trips. Thanksgiving Pie, Emergency Kits, things students can sell to the neighbors and local friends and family.
Other Ways to Raise Funds
Every school year, we'll have other ways to raise funds: Bottle drop, Dine-in at local restaurants, Franklin Band gear for holidays, Local sponsor reachout, Bake sales & Concessions at band concerts and drama performances
